Complete The Care Certificate With JD Training
August 7, 2018
The Care Certificate is the new baseline qualification for those wanting to work in Health & Social Care, it is an identified set of standards that they will adhere to in their daily working lives. It is designed to adequately prepare them for the work place and allow service users to have confidence that their carers have the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviors to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.
The Care Certificate is built on the principles of 15 standards as outlined below and all applicants will be trained in each area and must show competence in order to be signed off and qualify to work in Health & Social Care. Registered Professionals already have the standards built into their formal training and qualifications and as such do not need to take the course.
Here at JD Training we’re extremely proud of our delivery of The Care Certificate which has received consistent great feedback from a range of care providers. Our course is tailored to applicants and taught by experienced trainers so we ensure the highest quality of training is provided, equipping your staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver fantastic care to service users.
The Care Certificate was put together by Health Education England, Skills for Care and Skills for Health after an independent report, The Cavendish Review, proposed that all healthcare assistants and social care support workers should undergo the same basic training, based on the best practice that already exists in the system, and must get a standard ‘certificate of fundamental care’. The implementation of The Care Certificate in 2015 brought a standardized and regulated level of care and we’re proud to support care providers in their continued application and always inviting new care providers to look to us to provide their training.
The Care Certificate course we provide is given over seven days and covers all the necessary standards, we are currently running a new course every seven weeks so if you would like to reserve a space and book yourself, or your staff on a course then contact us at 01642 602600 or E-Mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or
