Overview

For wanting to provide essential first aid skills for those in the community, the Family Safety in the Home course is one of the many that is funded* in associaiton with Middlesbrough Community Learning to provide top-notch education to the residents of Teesside. From CPR, to broken bones, this course covers all the basics in dealing with accidents, injuries and illnesses at home.

* Funded for those aged 19+ in the Tees Valley area. Limitations to availability apply.

• CPR and the recovery position
• Choking
• Fractures, sprains and broken bones
• Insect bites / stings
• Allergies and anaphylaxis
• Open wounds / bleeding
• Illnesses including meningitis
