Here at JD Training Solutions, our customers health and well-being is first and foremost our priority. We understand that due to the current circumstances, most are reluctant to book and attend training courses here at our centre, and we agree that everyone should stick to the government guidelines presented, practice regular hygiene, and social distancing, if possible.

However, we wanted to ensure our customers that we will still be here to provide training needed for them, either in intimate sessions, or through our brand new Virtual Learning Support system we have put in place during this current time, and may continue in the future if it proves successful.

Training we will still be providing includes First Aid Training, as our training accreditations (Qualsafe and TQUK) have ensured us it is not a “social gathering” and is in fact essential, especially for businesses where staff cannot work from home, and during a time where ambulance response times will be longer than ever. That said, we will be following our accreditations’ new guidelines for this period of time and updating our procedures as necessary to this particular situation. The guidelines include:

  • Maximum class size of 6 people
  • Stricter health and safety and hygiene regulations that customers and trainers must adhere to, including hand washing before entering the classroom at each break
  • Making sure manikins are wiped down between each learner, and are deep cleaned before and after each class
  • Ensuring no learner has exhibited respiratory virus symptoms, or have travelled to category 1 or 2 locations in recent weeks, for the safety of the other learners

Along with these guidelines, we are also offering training predominately at a venue of our customer’s choice if preferred and will be charging per person rather than our usual group rates (for the price list, see below). Our Virtual Learning Support system will also be in place to help with the theory-based elements of the training, whether as a group or one-to-one, and we will book you in for practical assessments as soon as we possibly can.
