Overview

This accredited course is designed for individuals who wish to act as an Emergency First Aider in their workplace. 

Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills, such as effective choking techniques and CPR knowledge, needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. 

Due to this certification being part of the Awarding Body, Qualsafe, certificates are unable to be downloaded from our website. Please get in touch if you have failed to receive your official Qualsafe certification from 2 weeks after the course has been completed.

Course Contents

• Understand the principles of First Aid
• Be able to assess and manage casualties
• Offer resuscitation
• Offer treatment for choking
• Offer treatment for severe bleeding
• Offer treatment for an unconscious casualty (including shock)
• Offer treatment for heart conditions
• Offer treatment on dealing with seizures
• Offer treatment for minor injuries
• Record incidents and actions
