Overview

This course addresses the need for competent people who are responsible for providing activities within the care home, day center, or other social care setting.

It provides individuals working with people of all ages with the knowledge to provide stimulating and suitable activities for service users. Providing a variety of activities can be a hard task at times for a service provider and this unit will provide you with a range of activities suitable for your service users to enjoy. This unit is achieved through a range of competency assessments.

This course includes assessment of your skills by presenting an activity to you peers. The course also focuses on how to involve physical activities, case studies, group work, individual work, assessments and debatable areas. This will be followed by a workplace assessment.

Due to this certification being part of the Awarding Body, TQUK, certificates are unable to be downloaded from our website. Please get in touch if you have not received your certificate 4 weeks since your final assessment has been completed.
