IOSH: Managing Safely (3 Day Course: £300 per person + VAT)

The IOSH Managing Safely course demonstrates that your employees have been trained in the preventative approaches to hazards, as well as promoting a ‘safe practice’ culture. This is designed to ensure that all employees are nationally recognised, and have respected certificated training for their managers and supervisors.

The IOSH Managing Safely offers peace of mind by training that’s designed and quality controlled by the Chartered body for occupational health and safety professionals.

Managers and supervisors who successfully complete this course will gain knowledge of Health & Safety, enabling them to ensure that their own work, and that of the employees for whom they are responsible for is carried out safely. Delegates are formally assessed at the end of the course by means of an examination and a practical workplace-based assessment.

(Next Course Date: 25th October, 1st and 8th November 2019)

Mental Health First Aid (2 Day Course: £200 per person + VAT, 1 Day Course: £125 per person + VAT)

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people how to recognise signs and symptoms of poor mental heath, and how to provide help on a First Aid basis, teaching you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.

By taking part in a MHFA course, there is more awareness, as well as a reduce in stigma around mental ill health. It also boosts knowledge and confidence in dealing with mental health issues, and promotes early intervention which enables recovery.

The course itself is a mix of practical activities, and knowledge based teachings.

(Next 1 Day Course Date: 7th November 2019)
