JD Putting First Aid First
April 17, 2018
As a Training Solution firm we cover a wide range of courses to a variety of different fields however one course translates across all industries and has been a main pillar of our business since day one; our First Aid courses. Applicable to everyone and required by law we recognise that First Aid is an essential part of every business and we need to deliver an informative, interactive and engaging course.
Last week alone we saw over 200 attendees come through our doors to receive our leading One-Day Emergency First Aid at Work course; including over 150 from Stockton Community Transport. We’ve provided First Aid training for Middlesbrough and Stockton councils, many local businesses and national chains such as the Cairn Hotel Group as well as being entrusted by the NHS and many leading care providers. Our comprehensive course is unrivaled in quality for a fair rate, as well as being RQF Accredited.
Legally obligated under the Health and Safety Regulations 1981 employers are responsible for providing appropriate first-aid arrangements in the workplace. Our three-day First Aid at Work course covers all the necessary skills and knowledge as well providing a base of assessing your workplace if the first-aid arrangements are sufficient.
Not only a legal obligation but First-Aid is considered to be an important life-skill, wherever you are you will always be able to provide immediate care that could potentially save lives and prevent minor injuries from progressing. It allows peace of mind and the confidence of how to act during an emergency.
The training enables candidates to:
- Understand the principles of first aid
- Respond to the needs of unconscious casualties
